Couples in a circle, men on
the inside ladies on the outside facing anti-clockwise around
the hall. Barn Dance hold. Each section is 2 bars |
| 1 | Right and Left |
Move diagonally forward by
stepping on the right foot, slide the left foot behind, the step
hop on right foot, raising the left foot in front. Repeat starting withe left foot |
| 2 | Right and Left | Repeat right and left. |
| 3 | All Forward | Starting with the right foot, all move straight ahead with 4 step hops. |
| 4 | Ladies Turn Under | Ladies turn under, while doing 4 step hops. |
| - | 4/4 tunes similar to Strathspeys at 30 bars / minute |
To make the dance
progressive, the ladies advance during the last 2 step
hops. From a NSW group known as the Four Sisters. |
